This morning I was whining about going to chorus rehearsal. (I like chorus, I was just tired). Son #2 stopped me cold, pulled me down until I was eye level with him and said quietly, “You wanted to sign up for this. We paid good money for it. You’re part of a team now and they depend on you. You might not be happy about it, but you’re going, missy. You have to see it through till the end.” Never thought my own words would come back to haunt me. Amazing how much you really can get through to your kids! 🙂
