For those who don’t live in the US Midwest, you might not understand this joke. But this photo seems to accurately describe the weather thus far in 2014.

Earlier this week, we had snow. It got progressively warmer(ish) until it reached 64 degrees today. Nice, right? Except with the 64 degrees also comes severe thunderstorm warnings and a tornado watch. Yep – tornado. Just days after we had snow. To make it even better, we’ll get up to the mid 70’s on Sunday and drop back to 50s by this time next week.

If you see me this week, I’ll probably look like this, since my sinuses are going seriously wonky:
