I’m not Catholic but I like the idea of confession…and absolution. So…I hereby declare today (and every Friday henceforth until I’m bored with it) – RANDOM CONFESSION FRIDAY!

Now…I’m not asking you to share your deepest darkest secrets. PLEASE do not do that. I’m just saying those little things people may not know about you cuz it might be a bit embarrassing or silly. Take my confession for today…

i love gray nail polish!

You might think, “So what?”…and you’d be right to do so! But, for me it’s a bit of an unhealthy love. I try to find clothes that work with the various shades I have. I force myself to wear other nail polishes so my borderline obsession isn’t realized. It’s the only color I will do an accent nail with so it doesn’t look boring. Today…the accent nail is navy blue, in honor of my Sporting KC love and the track meet I’ll be at tomorrow.

As one Facebook friend already confessed: “I added vodka in a Kool-Aid Jammer last night.” Seriously? I actually think that’s a bit of awesomeness right there! But, she “confessed”, felt better and we all move along. Silly, fun and maybe a little weight will be lifted.

There will be no negative judgements here. But, please don’t tell us about your major personal affairs – this is just for fun! Let your freak flag fly a little bit and feel better about letting the world know your normal, human, crazy behaviors. 🙂
