Feeling poetic lately. It may not be my novels or even full blog posts, but at least I’m writing!

“No news tonight!!”
she silently pleads
turns the TV to fluff
does needless stuff
a heart too full
to feel much more
others’ ills
cause tears to fall
down
and down
and down
her cheeks
you may misinterpret
her lack of inclusion
for
laziness
shallowness
self centeredness
simple rudeness
but reality bites
as some may say
and it truly hurts
                                 aches
                                                 wounds
                                                                      breaks
so much in this world
going wrong
nary right
and the empathic
heart
just can’t take
any more
