Yes, I’m writing again!! 2,000 words into a new novel currently titled “18 Days”. Writing from a first person MALE POV. Not easy for me but it seems to be flowing well. Wish me luck!!

Contrary to popular belief and a myriad of ads, there are alternatives to the usual symbols of “love” this holiday. You don’t need to spend a lot of money on flowers or jewelry, you don’t need to derail diets or lifestyles with a box of chocolates and dinner and a movie can fall flat as an expression of love. So, to help out the hopeless and maybe even the hopeless romantic, here are a few different ideas you could try this year.

I’m feeling the gray skies crowd around and more than a little Eeyore-ish this week. I’m sharing an old poem that kinda sums up my heart at the moment.

OK, to be fair, there’s the whole edit, refine, fluff, blah blah blah to do. But the thing is DONE. Written. And I’m pretty doggone happy about it!!

New Year, More ME
Oh yes. It’s that time of year when people make resolutions…and sometimes break them. My plans, however, tend to be less resolution-y and more goal-oriented. And this year, I have just one big one – more ME.
Stitch Fix Update Coming
I got my new Stitch Fix box today. SUPER excited to try everything on based on the cards and the initial look through the box. I didn’t update (yet) but I actually kept AN ENTIRE FIX LAST TIME! I’ll be updating with this newest one and my last few – Rhonda is really getting it RIGHT with me now. And I’m going to go broke because of it. 😀
No, YOU Should be Writing!

These Words are Enough Today
I read this and there was nothing more I could add to it. It was exactly what I felt today – that I had enough, that I do enough, that I AM enough. I hope that you may have this feeling, not just once but always. I am enough. YOU are enough. We are all ENOUGH, just as we are, where we are, how we are.

Novel Thoughts: A Short Blog Break
During the month of November I probably won’t be on Eccentric Randomness very much. There’s that whole National Novel Writing Month thing going on and my writing skills are needed on that. But, if you’re missing me, you can check out my “Novel Thoughts” blog. Over there, I just drop quick thoughts as I go through the process of writing a full novel in 30 days. It’s a simple way for me to journal the process and not feel like I need to add images or styling or anything.
