I know I’ve posted a lot of inspirational images but it’s what I think is needed most in the world. Or at least in my world. So many people have a hard time with self-love and self-esteem and I just want to find the right thing that will make them agree and say – “YES! That’s EXACTLY how I feel and what I needed to hear! THANK YOU!”
Yesterday, my company had a wonderful presenter (Jenne Fromm) come in and talk to us about “Emotional Intelligence”. It was a wonderful seminar and it started a lot of positive communications within the office. I had a good conversation with a friend/coworker about anxiety and I shared with her the “Stop It” video I posted some time back. She, in turn, shared this one with me.
Today’s inspirational images are all about the mind – thinking, believing, dreaming. I hope one of these speaks to you.
It’s official! I’m finally getting a trip out of the country! At the time this post went live, my flight should be taking off! OMG OMG OMG!!!
I try to keep my personal blog and my business life fairly separate. I only mention my workplace, usually in general terms, just to let you know that I do hold a “real job” and I don’t spend my days looking for the nuttiness of the Internet (unless it’s part of a client request). I rarely mention my company by name because I don’t ever want to lead people to think the strangeness of my blog is tied to my company’s beliefs or scare anyone away from them because I’m a bit…eccentric (to say the least). But, this time I have to let my straight-flag fly and tell y’all just how awesome my workplace can be!
I think there’s something oddly hypnotic about this video. And the results are beautiful!
Got a lot on my mind and a lot on my plate right now. Actually, not on my plate – I don’t like that phrase. I have a lot on my To Do list. And very little of it is stuff I actually WANT to do..or even truly NEED to do. Work stuff, family stuff, some friend stuff. It’s all obligatory but nothing where I’m being fulfilled mentally, emotionally or spiritually. So, this big guy kind of sums up how I feel right now.
Do you like movies? Do you like to make fun of movies? Do you sometimes wonder “WTF was Hollywood thinking?!” when they made a certain movie? Even movies you like will have “HUH?” moments in them, since “No movie is without sin.” And if you’re like me, you like a healthy dose of snark and sarcasm and someone pointing out all these movie sins. For this, I now direct you to one of my favorite places on the Internet – the CinemaSins YouTube channel.
